ZACAPA – The pick of super premium ron
Zacapa is a super-premium Guatemalan product produced exclusively from Miel Virgen, pure cane juice in which sugars are concentrated by eliminating a percentage of aqueous part. The aging of Zacapa takes place in different types of barrels, through a unique process that is called Zacapa Solera System. A fundamental part of this slow process is the altitude at which it occurs: 2,300 meters above sea level, in the mountains of Guatemala. The altitude and the cool temperature help to slow down the aging process, making it harmonious and
balanced the relationship between barrels and liquid.
The entire production process encompasses different Guatemalan regions, taking full advantage of the climatic differentiation of the territory and enhancing its contents.
Zacapa has been awarded as best rum five times in a row at the Rum Contest.
