1 Michelin Star has been newly awarded for the year 2018, which after the collaboration of Chefs Daniele Sera (2009-2011), Kotaro Noda (2011-2013) and Filippo Lamantia (2013-2014), was first appointed to the MAGNOLIA RESTAURANT with Chef FRANCO MADAMA in 2017. This is a recognition to the commitment of those who contributed to fulfill the vision of bringing haute cuisine within big hotels, as it usually happens in the main capitals of the world. Just like in the year 1900, when the Michelin brothers started recommending locations where travelers could discover excellence, Grand Hotel Via Veneto has become the landmark of Roman hospitality believing that travelers must be provided with “high quality cuisine, that is worth the stop”! The MAGNOLIA is therefore an unmissable place for all those who love high quality food and beverages, a place where art and architecture embrace excellent service and courtesy.

Recently awarded 2 Forks from the Gambero Rosso 2018 guide, 1 Hat from the Espresso 2018 and reviewed by the Repubblica in the Guida dei Spaori, the MAGNOLIA RESTAURANT is located inside the Grand hotel via Veneto, with an independent access from via Sicilia, which is fascinating right from the very entrance. Going through the tunnel, with water flowing along the black marbled walls and by the shimmering lights of the Murano glass chandeliers, Guests enter a gorgeous outdoor patio floored with traditional Roman sanpietrino stones where, in springtime, you can dine in the open-air, under the Roman sky. Completely renovated, its warm ochre and copper-red enhance the parquet and Roman travertine flooring, under the dim lighted wine cellar that overlooks the few wisteria-colored dinner tables. Unique dishes that blend flavors and colors that arouse deep emotions in order to enjoy an extraordinary experience in a unique atmosphere. In the culinary Roman scene a unique and not to be missed seasonal offer is the risotto: a balance of sophistication respecting the territories that traditionally evoke the warm scents of home.
A selection of sparkling wines and signature cocktails are just the start of the aperitif, accompanied by the treats offered by the kitchen brigade; delicious smell of warm bread and butter breadsticks, a surprising blur of dishes, exquisite teas and cigars.
