De Matteis Agroalimentare
is one of the main Italian producers of durum wheat pasta, committed to improving the quality of the entire production chain, from the field to the finished product.
The main plant is located in Campania, at the foot of the Apennines, near the main areas of cultivation of durum wheat (Irpinia, Puglia, Basilicata).
As very few Italian pasta factories, De Matteis Agroalimentare is equipped with an integrated wheat-pasta production cycle. The presence of the mill allows total control of the raw material and therefore of the quality of the product. In the quality control laboratory inside the mill we select the best grain and verify that it meets our strict quality standards.
De Matteis Agroalimentare was born in 1993 from an idea of two entrepreneurial families that have been working together for more than 50 years. The commitment and dedication of the entrepreneurs brought what was initially a mill with a small pasta factory to become one of the world’s leading players in the world of pasta, with a growth rate that is still unmatched in the sector.
